Welcome to our comfy single bedroom apartment with full kitchen setup, seating area, shower, and king size bed. Located on our second level, you will enter our lobby and head straight up. We’ve tried to add the amentities most needed while traveling, or even staying for a prolonged period. Full cooktop and oven, kitchenwares, dual K-cup and drip coffee maker, as well as an amply large refrigerator.

Enjoy a modern comfortable, warm, and expansive living space during your adventures in the UP. A welcoming space with full size kitchen amenities, 1 bedroom with a King bed make for a perfect fit for most any couple. Ample room for a group to enjoy some quality time together catching up on life or board games. A short walk to the beach for a swim in the summer, or Ice Fishing in the winter. Ample on premise parking for your snowmobile trailers or other outdoor entertainment.
Unit consists of 3 rooms, 1 bedrooms, bath, and a large kitchen/living area. Approximately 750 square feet worth of space to spread out and make yourselves comfortable. Kitchen is equipped with all the pots and pans you may need, along with full size stove, refrigerator and dishwasher, to prepare a nice meal for friends and family and quickly clean up. Bathroom has ample room for a pair to get ready with dual sinks, as well as in suite washer/dryer for those longer stays.
Because we live on premise we can be available for any questions or help you may need. We have deep resources both on premise and in the community for if you need help with something. We have done our best to provide a place you can be as autonomous as you want but certainly can assist as needed.

This unit is located on the second level. It is accessed via our primary set of stairs on entry to the lobby space. These stairs are a more modern, gentle incline.
This portion of the property is NOT wheelchair accessible.

This policy does not apply to high demand event weeks or weekends.

Origin of Pike Bay
The Pike Bay is the name for the water that which we live on, or more specifically the bay on which Chassell is located. Named for the Northern Pike fish that used to be in abundance in the shallow waters of the bay, which drew fishers from all around.
The water today remains a great source of fun and entertainment for children and adults alike due to its shallow waters which result in above normal water temperatures during the summer when compared to Portage or Superior. A great spot to swim, boat, or fish.

While the unit is listed for 2 adults, the unit has ample couch space for an extra kid or 2. Just give us a heads up and we’ll add additional blankets and pillows to the space.
How do I enter the unit

This unit has 2 entry points. During the summer months you can enter from both the exterior front door, via 3 steps, or via the interior door via 2 steps down. Both entries come in to the main living area; but one is protected from the elements.
Will the space be dead silent?

We’re sorry but no. Even with all the efforts we have taken to dampen the sounds. The highway does provide for most of the noise, but the bulk of the noise is during daytime hours with nominal at night. There are other guests and residents that you may also here slightly, but it would be in the form of light footsteps, typically.

Because we have a large lobby area, we welcome guests who may need to drop their items off prior to check in time. If available, we can give you early access to the unit, but in case not, there is space to wait.
